Founded in 2020 by husband and wife team Ebrahim and Kulsoom, Clouds and Sprinkles is transforming events worldwide.

Our mission is to be the market leader of premium laser-cut decorative items by offering high quality products with exclusive design work, best in-class customer service, rapid turnaround times and a reputation for reliability.

Our journey started in 2020 when Ebrahim, an airline pilot by profession, was made redundant during the pandemic. With both partners out of work, they decided to view their newfound circumstances as an opportunity rather than a set-back. Kulsoom enrolled in a PGCE program at university, while Ebrahim decided to buy a small 3D printer and laser cutting machine.

Working out of a small reception room in their home, Ebrahim learned how to operate the machinery. After prototyping lots of different products, they identified a gap in the market for acrylic cake decorations. 

In January 2021, Clouds and Sprinkles was founded, selling premium laser-cut cake decorations and event accessories on Etsy.

In late 2021, after completing her PGCE, Kulsoom joined Ebrahim working for the company on a full-time basis, now working out of a purpose-built workshop.

By November 2022 the couple could no longer cope with the high demand for their products on their own and began recruiting skilled and passionate employees with a keen eye for design.

In January 2025, we launched our very own website, expanding our product range with more customisable options, a more direct way of communicating with us, and better value for money by means of a loyalty program.

The website launch also sets the foundation for the next stage in our growth. We aim to take a step closer to our mission by diversifying our product offerings whilst maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

As of January 2025, we have achieved over 40,000 sales and over 6,000 5* star Etsy reviews. Behind the scenes, our team of seven staff members work hard to deliver high quality products and excellent customer service, day in, day out.
